We celebrated World Book Day in style on Thursday 2nd March. Our Prep School children and teachers came to school as usual in some fantastic Fancy Dress costumes, with a focus on Michael Morpurgo characters, and Mr Jenkins judged the best dressed from each class - results to be announced!
Mrs Fanet held a 'bring and buy' book sale in the Library, an ideal way to recycle books and discover new ones, and our Prep 5 - Form 2 pupils took part in a fantastic webinar with the author Michael Morpurgo where they found out about his life and works.
Mrs Shamsolahi also launched our Pawsome Readers photo competition with students from Reception through to Sixth Form being encouraged to take a photo of their pets reading for a chance to win house points! We had a huge number of entries and lots of brilliant pictures - congratulations to the winners, judged by Mrs Shamsolahi and Mrs Fanet.
