Today our Form 5 (Year 11) pupils took part in a brilliant careers workshop with Vicki from FutureSmart Careers.

The morning was based around a Dragons’ Den/Apprentice task and the pupils worked in teams to choose a product (inventions included a defibrillator drone, a retractable charger, a remotely accessible garden and translator glasses), make a pitch and decide where to invest their money.

A really great morning with fantastic participation from everyone and Vicki commented, ‘Of all the schools I go to, Shebbear College pupils are always the most polite and friendly!’
