We are excited to announce the Shebbear College Summer Ball 2024!
After the success of the Michaelmas Ball and the 175th Anniversary Ball a few years ago, we are bringing the Shebbear College Ball back on Saturday 29th June 2024.
This will be a glamourous affair for around 200 people, held under a fully adorned marquee on Beckly Field here at the College, with a three-course meal from modern event caterers, Fego Food Co., a champagne bar, general bar and Live Music from Sonic Fusion to dance the night away! We will also be holding an auction after the meal.
The dress code for the evening is Cocktail/Formal with a 'Summer Chic' twist.
Ticket booking
Tickets are priced at £100 each and are available to anyone with a link to Shebbear College - staff, parents, Old Shebbearians, parents of Old Shebbearians, friends or contacts of the College.
Please book tickets online here. Tables will seat 10 people. If you would like to sit with certain people, we would advise booking together, in one booking, to help ensure this. For smaller groups/couples, please book your tickets and we will allocate you to a table. If you would like to be seated with particular people, but are not booking together, please contact us and we will try to accommodate this where possible.

Sponsorship
We are looking for local companies to help support this event through a sponsorship package. The sponsorship package is priced at £100 and will include sponsoring a table (Your company name/logo will be included on the table) and a half page advert in the brochure, as well as mentions on social media and in publicity material leading up to the event. Please contact us if you are interested in sponsoring the event, or if you know anyone that might be.
Auction
We are looking for high-end items for our auction. If you, or someone you know, is in a position to donate something for the auction, please get in touch! Last time the ball took place, we had experiences such as a ski chalet stay, a photoshoot, a UK beach hotel stay and a meal at a local restaurant, as well as items such as a bespoke handmade cake, a whole lamb and concert tickets, all kindly donated by parents, governors and local businesses.
Event help
If you feel you can, or would like to help in any way it would be much appreciated. We particularly need help with the auction and sponsorship side of things, so if you are able to offer any contacts for table sponsorship and auction prizes this would be fantastic. All volunteers welcome!
